Après le coup des baleines, on est arrivé à Enterprise. Dans ce cirque de glace git une épave de bateau ravitailleur de baleiniers. L'épave fait 100m de long, dont à peu près 25m sortent de l'eau. A marée basse on peut encore y admirer quelques tetes de harpons et des cordes brulées. Ce bateau norvégien a été coulé sur place après un incendie en 1917 je crois.
Y avait aussi des restes de chaloupes de tranfert de cargaison à admirer sur un ilot pas loin. Y a encore pas mal de vestiges de l'époque de la chasse à la baleine qui trainent ca et la sous la neige.On a aussi fait quelques tours autour des icebergs environnants, c'était bien cool de les voir de si près avec l'annexe!
On est aussi allé régulièrement à terre pour admirer les manchots, les otaries qui se battent et les phoques qui font les limaces en attendant la fin de leur mue. Enfin j'y reviendrai plus tard avec quelques photos bien sur ;-)

So after the jumping whales we got to Enterprise, it's a pretty cool place: in the middle of an ice cirque lies a shipwreck! The wreck is the one of a norwegian boat, supply ship for the whalers back in the days. The ship caught fire and got sunk there in 1917 if i remember well. It's about 100m long, 25m of which stick out of the surface. At low tide it's still possible to see some harpoon heads and burnt ropes. Pretty cool stuff!
Some tittle boats that served for the transfer of the supplies between ships can still be seen on some nearby island. All wrecked of course, and partly lying under the snow. There's still a lot of traces of the whaling industry to be seen in Antarctica, it's pretty interesting!
We did some tours with the small boat around the nearby icebergs, pretty cool to just sit so close next to them!
We also went regularly on land to watch penguins, fur seals fighting, and seals chilling waiting for their fur to peel before going back in the water. I'll come back to all of this with plenty of pictures as you can imagine ;-)
